Can I get married at Amalfi White?

Yes, we are licensed to hold ceremonies in our Ballroom, White bar and Garden

Is the venue open to the public on my wedding day?

Unless you choose the VIP package the bar will still be open to the public, but do not worry, the bar/lounge area is a private space reserved for your wedding guests and you also have your own private bar upstairs

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, we are, dogs are allowed to be apart of your wedding day

Who books the registrars?

The couple books the registrars, before booking a wedding date with us you need to check that the registrars have that date and time free. We work with Swadlincote Registry Office tel:01629533969 email: [email protected]

What time is the perfect ceremony?

We always recommend between 12pm – 2:00pm for a ceremony if you are having a full day. You can get married at 4pm and go straight into the evening reception.

Do you allow confetti?

Yes, as long as it is biodegradable and done on the grass in the garden – none allowed inside

Can I have real candles?

Yes, as long as the flame is covered.

Can I get ready at Amalfi White?

Yes, we have a dressing room for either the bridal party or groomsmen to get ready in

What time does the bar close?

Sunday-Thursday 11pm and Friday-Saturday midnight but you can apply for a late licence and extended the times by an hour

Are there any local hotels?

Is there parking?

We do not have a car park on site, there is plenty of on street parking. There is Harpurs carpark which is 1 minute walk away which is pay & display or you have the village car park behind the village shops. However we do always try to reserve the wedding couple a spot outside.

Yes, we allow external catering, this does come with a fee and disclaimer forms to sign

Can we set up the day before?

If the room is not booked out the day before then yes, otherwise the weddings & events team will set out your decor

Are there any restrictions at the venue?
Only restriction is the noise, we have a sound limiter in our venue so all DJ’s will have to plug into this and sign a disclaimer form. Live music is allowed but with restrictions 
Are we allowed our own catering?

Yes, there would be a fee and a disclaimer form to sign

What happens during the turn arounds?

The wedding & events staff will set up all your decor during this time for the wedding meal or evening reception. Wedding guests can make their way to the bar/lounge area for drinks and photos- feel free to use the gardens for photos

Can we just have an evening reception?

Yes, we offer an evening only package as well as an intimate day package.

What’s Melbourne Pool?

Melbourne Pool is a beauty spot in our little village perfect for a mini photoshoot – it is about 3 minutes walk and 2 minute drive away.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we do! You can spread the cost with no interest.
